Community Care

The CCP is an agency program offered in Cass County that is funded by the Illinois Department on Aging. Agency workers go into the homes of seniors in Cass County to help them with tasks in their homes such as: encouragement to eat, personal care, transferring, continence, help using or answering the phone, meal preparation, laundry, general housework, shop and errands, medication reminders and safety check each time we go into their homes. Eligibility for IDA funded services: 60 years and older, have a need and not have more than $17,500.00 in assets (excluding your home and car). Participants' needs are assessed individually to determine how many days and hours they can expect to receive each week. Individuals with assets greater than $17,500 are eligible for self-pay services.
